Overheard convos in "Life"

We've got a couple of the girls' friends here.  The group is playing "Life".

In the newer version, you spin the wheel to see how many babies you get.

Anna had two kids in her car then spun a "10" which granted her triplets.  Anna slaps her head asking, "What am I gonna do with all these kids?"  Friend says, "If  they all don't fit in your car, you can just leave it out".

Towards the end, I hear them tallying up their bank accounts.
"You can sell your babies for $50k."
"No, you don't sell your husbands.  Or your dog."

Anna says in a disappointed tone, "All I have is 950k." The other team has 16.4 million.

Not sure how I could live with "only" 950k.

Secret recipe

Abigail and Anna came up with a creation all on their own.  So I asked them to share the recipe with me so we could have it for next time.  They really wanted to take it to the church potluck the next day but we had nothing to serve it with.

It's like a chocolate peanut butter sauce.

1 scoop chocolate chips
2 globs peanut butter
A little sugar
Spoonful of milk

Mix it all together. Microwave it for 30 seconds. Maybe longer.

It'd be good over ice cream, although we didn't have any on hand the two times they've made it.  So they just are it by the spoonful.  Oh, and don't substitute coffee creamer for the milk of you're out of milk.  It doesn't work.

Results may vary.

Lights, darks, and pudding cups

While pulling out dirty laundry from the hamper to wash, I found a pudding cup.  A new one.  Not half eaten or empty.

This morning, Adalyn woke apologizing that she helped herself to a bowl of cereal after we all went to bed.  So I'm wondering if the pudding cup was her stash for tonight.  Or Alivia was getting into the pantry again.

Denial

"What's this that's been spilled on the floor?"

Adalyn: "Not me".

Home sweet home

There was some "Clean Shower" spray left here when we moved in.  So after my shower, I used it this morning.  Arm & Hammer came out with it.  "Use daily to prevent soap scum and mildew stains".  Great!!!!  Since I don't really plan to be cleaning tubs in the near future, but rather to be unpacking- sounds like a win/win.

So I sprayed it and walked away, just like the label suggested.  Abigail walked in there later and asked what that smell was.  I told her.  She said it smelled like someone threw up in there.  Great!!  So now we know how it works- it prevents soap scum because you won't want to go in there to shower anymore because of the overwhelmingly foul odor that will knock you out.

Can't wait to sit down....and do some laundry

I may be drying my last load of clothes in our Byrdstown house.  I feel so called to do some laundry as a way to relax.  I'm completely drained of moving.
